This mobile-first approach significantly improved the accessibility and user engagement on the Zumi platform. Users could easily search for tattoo artists, browse portfolios, and communicate with artists, all from the convenience of their mobile phones. As a result, the platform attracted a larger user base, contributing to its overall success and growth.

Design System

Our team developed the design system for the Zumi platform from scratch. We created all the necessary elements for the platform (icons, headings, dropdowns, inputs, etc.) We also developed all branding elements, including the logo, following all industry standards and trends.


01. Integration with Google calendar

This feature allows clients who book the date and time of a session with a tattoo artist to transfer the appointment information to their personal Google calendar automatically.

02. Integration with Stripe payment system

Using the Stripe payment system, clients make a deposit (prepayment) after booking a session with a tattoo artist. This allows tattoo artists not to lose money for the working day if the client does not come, and clients to be sure that they will come at the exact appointed time.

03. Tattoo artist profile

The profile of the tattoo artist includes detailed information about the artist, their sketches and previous works, free dates for sessions, location, etc. Also, each sketch is described in the master’s portfolio and contains the following information: the price of the sketch, its size, placement and style.

04. Customer profile

The client’s profile displays the booked dates for the tattoo session, communication preferences and information about their age, gender, etc. Using their profiles, clients can also go to the messenger to communicate with the tattoo master.

05. Messenger

This feature is necessary so that clients can communicate with a tattoo artist by choosing a custom tattoo for themselves. In this way, they can quickly discuss the sketch details and other information about the tattoo session.
